The FlexPad 8800 Fiber to the User (FTTU) platform is the state of the art solution from Padtec for Gigabit Capable Passive Optical Network (GPON) systems with residential and commercial applications. Constructed based on ITU-T G.984 recommendations. The FlexPad 8800 Platform is capable to transport triple play services (voice, data and video) by optical fiber at a rate of 2.5 Gb/s of up to 20 km in distance.
