The Optical Protection System allows for the implementation of 1+1 dedicated protection of the optical channel OSNC (Optical Sub Network Connection Protection) type or equipment (optical channel plus equipment).
The system is transparent to transmission rate and protocol and to transmission technology, and it can work with digital systems (SDH, GbE, Fast Ethernet, Escon, Ficon, Fiber Channel and others), analogical systems (video) and CWDM/DWDM systems without capacity limit.
