The Quadruplex system makes it possible to immediately quadruple an optical communication system.
The Quadruplex is a DWDM system working in 1310 and 1550 nm windows on a bidirectional basis, serving designs that use optical equipment operating at different wavelengths.
With the use of the Quadruplex system it is possible to quickly attend the existent demand of new customers, avoiding the necessary investments of the purchasing and installation of optical cables, and the delay and complexity in the implementation of these routes.
The Quadruplex is a passive system, supporting applications from 40 to 50 km in distance without using amplifiers, power and management systems, providing an excellent cost benefit ratio, with total transparency to the rate and modulation format.
• Compact (1U horizontal) or it can be installed in a splice box
• No need of power supply
• No need of management system
• Easy system of installation; does not require special care
• Low cost
• Transparency to transmission rate as well as to modulation format
• Increase of transmission capacity without changing the existing networks/equipment configuration
• Rationalization of fiber use
