Padtec and 3Trend establish a strategic partnership focused on mission-critical projects

Under the agreement, 3Trend becomes a sales, integration, and technical services channel for Padtec’s optical solutions in telecommunications, energy, and utilities projects.

Padtec has just established an important strategic partnership with 3Trend, a Brazilian company that implements mission-critical system projects, mainly in the telecommunications, energy, utilities, and industrial sectors. With the agreement, 3Trend becomes part of the official sales, integration, and technical services channel for Padtec’s optical solutions, which include DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) systems for optical transport networks (OTN), optical amplifiers for ultra-long distances, routers, and enterprise and industrial-grade switches.

“The partnership is aligned with Padtec’s goal of expanding its presence in strategic markets, such as utilities and infrastructure, through qualified integrators with strong experience in these areas,” says Henrique Graciosa, Director of National Sales at the company. He highlights that 3Trend is recognized for its technical expertise and its ability to deliver complete solutions to customers—from project design to operation. “For Padtec, this agreement represents an important reinforcement to our strategy of expanding the presence of our technology in mission-critical applications, where reliability and performance are essential requirements,” he adds.

Focused on these markets, Padtec recently expanded its Enterprise line of servers, switches, and routers—designed for end-to-end IP networks (access, distribution, and core) —through a partnership. With this, the company now offers a broad and diversified portfolio of infrastructure solutions for open and disaggregated networks, in addition to a complete portfolio for corporate networks.

3Trend sees the alliance with Padtec as a significant initiative to strengthen its portfolio for mission-critical projects, offering robust, secure, and high-performance solutions. “Throughout my career, I’ve implemented projects using Padtec equipment that remain in operation for more than 20 years. It is this reliability, robustness, and cutting-edge technology developed in Brazil that we are combining with 3Trend’s engineering and integration capabilities, strengthening the national ecosystem of mission-critical solutions,” says Evandro Valero, the company’s CEO.

The partnership also reinforces Padtec’s vision for the future, as 3Trend maintains an open Artificial Intelligence lab (openLab), named GridSyx, focused on developing mission-critical software, failure prediction, and optimization of electrical and industrial systems. “This is a decisive step toward the era of intelligent operations,” concludes Henrique, from Padtec.
