Changes are part of the company’s growth recovery strategy, which includes portfolio diversification and expansion into new markets.
Padtec, a global leader in optical communications systems, is announcing a restructuring of its board of directors as part of its strategy to resume growth and business sustainability. To achieve this objective, the company is maintaining its goals of diversifying its portfolio, conquering new markets and expanding internationally.
One of the changes affects the commercial department, which now encompasses the product and service areas and will be called the National Market Sales Department. Henrique Graciosa, who was head of Domestic Sales, is the new director of this area, previously led by Argemiro Sousa, who has left the company.
Another novelty is the creation of the International Market Sales Department, which will be headed by Hernán Yepes, previously general manager of CALA Norte. Manuel Andrade, who was the director responsible for Padtec’s international operations, is retiring.
The Legal Department ceases to exist – which also marks the departure of Patrícia Iqueda from Padtec. The Legal area will now be the responsibility of the Finance Department, led by Leonardo Chamsin, who took over in May. From now on, Chamsin will also hold the position of Investor Relations Officer. The position had been held by Carlos Raimar Schoeninger, Padtec’s CEO – who now also holds the position of Global Sales Director.
The Platforms and Solutions Department has changed its name to the Products Department. Led by Alexandre Piovesan, this department, which is now statutory, will be responsible for the management and strategy of the Company’s portfolio, including the research and development areas.
