Patrícia Sayuri Iqueda, who has worked as the manager of the legal department since 2014, assumes the new board position on October 1st.
Padtec, a leading manufacturer of optical transport systems, announces the creation of a new board position dedicated to the legal area and general secretary duties. This new director will reinforce the company’s compliance, governance and ethics practices in order to monitor – and even anticipate – the evolution of the market.
Padtec has appointed Patrícia Sayuri Iqueda to this new position, who, since 2014 has managed the company’s legal department, leading the team responsible for conducting legal and compliance matters in Brazil and abroad. “It is with great enthusiasm that I take on the challenge of this position at this time of important transformations for Padtec”, says the new director.
Patrícia emphasizes that one of the main missions ahead is to continue to conduct the activities of the legal department with a focus on corporate governance based on the best market practices. A lawyer who graduated from the University of São Paulo (USP), the new director has more than 15 years of experience in the legal area, working at large companies in the telecommunications sector – such as Vivo and Oi.
Padtec’s management team also includes the executives Carlos Raimar Schoeninger, CEO, Argemiro Sousa, Chief Business Officer, Renato Jordão da Silva, CFO and Investor Relations Officer, Roberto Nakamura, Chief Technology Officer, and Manuel Andrade, Padtec North America’s CEO and Director of International Operations.
