Padtec announces the establishment of a subsidiary in Manaus

This strategic initiative marks another step in the Amazon Project, which focuses on increasing the company’s competitiveness and strengthening its production capacity.

Padtec Holding S.A. (B3: PDTC3) announces the incorporation of Padtec Amazônia Ltda., a company headquartered in Manaus (Amazonas state) and wholly owned by the subsidiary Padtec S.A. This initiative, approved in August by the company’s Board of Directors, marks another important step in the execution of “Projeto Amazônia” (Amazon Project), which focuses on increasing Padtec’s competitiveness and strengthening its production capacity.

“The Amazon Project aligns with Padtec’s strategy to strengthen its position as a trusted partner in digital infrastructure, expanding its industrial capacity to meet the growing demand for connectivity solutions, optical networks, data centers, and critical infrastructure in Brazil and international markets”, says Leonardo Chamsin, Padtec’s CFO and Investor Relations Director.

With the new subsidiary, the company is moving forward with the establishment of a manufacturing plant in the region, focusing on expanding production capacity to meet international market demands and handle higher production volumes, while also driving operational efficiency, strengthening the supply chain, and consequently boosting competitiveness. The new facility is currently undergoing the processes for certification, licensing, and obtaining the necessary approvals from the relevant government bodies to begin industrial operations. “This is a strategic initiative that will also contribute to the company’s revenue growth in the coming years”, concludes Chamsin.
