The new feature is the result of a partnership with Dominus Cyber and is part of Padtec’s strategy to include cybersecurity solutions in its portfolio.
The access points in Padtec’s Enterprise line now feature a new solution that combines intelligent management and web browsing security. The new offering is the result of a partnership between Padtec and Dominus Cyber, a cybersecurity company that represents NetExperience and Ring Zero Networks solutions in Brazil.
The solution, which is being added to Padtec’s portfolio, includes a Wi-Fi network controller with intelligent management embedded in the access point, as well as a web browsing security feature capable of intercepting phishing, ransomware, spyware, and other virtual threats — while also complying with the guidelines of the ECA Digital (Digital Statute for Children and Adolescents). It is a new option that can be integrated into Padtec’s Wi-Fi 6 and 7 access point line, available for the enterprise market.
“Our service stands out by offering a more complete and flexible solution than others on the market. In addition to featuring an Open Wi-Fi model, which expands compatibility with different AP suppliers, we are able to deliver a more affordable offering tailored to each customer’s needs,” says Ana Werner, Sales Manager at Dominus Cyber.
“This partnership is part of Padtec’s strategy to include cybersecurity solutions in its products, reinforcing its positioning as a provider of a complete offering for critical telecommunications infrastructure,” says Alexandre Piovesan, Product Director at Padtec. “With this collaboration, we are expanding our customers’ ability to protect their networks and critical operations in an integrated way, combining high performance, reliability, and security in a single offering,” he concludes.
