Padtec showcases new launches and portfolio expansion at event focused on internet providers

At Abrint Global Congress, the company announces its positioning as a strategic provider of solutions for networks based on different technologies.

Padtec is participating in Abrint Global Congress 2026, one of the most important events focused on internet providers in the country, with a broad portfolio of solutions for communication networks — terrestrial and submarine — based on different technologies. Some new additions to this portfolio will be presented first-hand at the event, which will bring together companies and professionals from the connectivity sector at Distrito Anhembi, in São Paulo, from May 6 to 8.

One of the highlights, which will be available on the market in the second half of this year, is the TMQ800G-NC transponder. It is a new optical transponder alternative with 800 Gb/s capacity, based on the standardized OSFP (Octal Small Form Factor Pluggable) form factor, designed to meet the demands of modern data centers and high-density networks. “This standard has been adopted in hyperscale and Artificial Intelligence data centers due to its more efficient thermal management,” says Alexandre Piovesan, Product Director at Padtec.

Among the advantages of the TMQ800G-NC are optics with standard OpenROADM mode, compact size, reduced power consumption, and lower cost per transmitted bit. “The focus of this new product in the Padtec transponder line is cost reduction and higher density, as it allows more interfaces to be placed in the rack: up to 3.2 Tb/s per RU of height,” Piovesan emphasizes.

Another Padtec launch at AGC 2026 is its proprietary OTDR monitoring solution (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer), which includes both hardware and fiber management software. The hardware, in linecard format, can be installed in available slots of existing subracks (or chassis) in networks, allowing better space utilization. Available in 4- and 8-port models, with optional integrated couplers, the product includes basic functionalities integrated into the Padtec NMS+ software, the same used for DWDM network management.

To access full OTDR functionalities, the company also provides software that performs proactive and in-service monitoring of optical fibers, featuring geolocation capabilities for route and event registration, automatic and periodic fiber integrity measurements, attenuation and event history, alarms for fiber breaks and other events. Developed and manufactured in Brazil by Padtec, the solution features a multi-tenant architecture, offering better access control for multiple clients, and is the newest option in the company’s OTDR product portfolio, which already includes solutions from its partnership with Viavi.

In the NOC services area, Padtec is announcing an expansion of its offerings, which now address the needs of clients using solutions from different vendors. The new services added to the portfolio include:

  • Operation, monitoring, and multivendor support — covering access to DWDM, IP, and FTTH network backbones;
  • Automation and Innovation — development of intelligent networks with monitoring, observability, and AIOps tools; application of software and AI to transform operations, enabling simulation, automatic provisioning, and failure prediction;
  • Technology BPO — adding intelligence to network operations using AI and observability tools (predictive actions and failures) and infrastructure management; digitalization, process automation, and technology management;
  • Consulting and transformation — advisory services focused on diagnosis, redesign, and implementation of processes, governance, and high-performance operational architectures.
